cleaning out the fridge and using up what I got ...just made a really good pork chop sandwich. Cooked a porkchop(in the freezer maybe a week) seasoned with s+p and mrs dash chipotle in a skillet with some nonstick spray. Toasted two slices of 12 grain bread(also a week old - not in fridge. On one slice put some Mr Mustard (3 months)and sauerkraut (3 months), on the other a sauce I made out of sambal(6 months - big jar), mayo(6 months-its a huge jar), apple sauce(a month), and a dash of apple cider vinegar(a couple months). I then placed some alfalfa sprouts( less then a week) on that slice of bread. After letting the chop rest I cut the bone out, assembled, and ate it up yum.
I hear there is impossible pork now, so even you vegetarians and vegans could try your hand at this.
Whats the best sandwich you ever made?
