That thing was parked next door to my house one night a couple years back, me and Chris crashed the party and drank their beer told everyone it was ours. Good times.

I already own my dream car. No cash for clunkers for me. 4 more years and it's an antique.
Posted: Aug 9, 2009 12:11 pm
If I had the money, time and space, I would take a '71 Boss 351 Mustang fastback , though.

As for these, I'm waiting for them to modify a Train Engine to steer, and put one of these on it.

Still have my '68 G.T.O. from when I was 16(original 400 punched thirty over w/ a Ram air IV. cam. 4 speed, 3:55 rear) Haven't driven it in years. Prob. needs lots of work to get running now, but it is/was a BEAST. Often miss driving it, but then I remember 12 miles to a gallon (8 or 9 when i put my foot down) and those drum brakes that take forever to stop the car.

always wanted a mopar. i know where there is a 440 six pack 'Cuda w/ a Hurst and shaker hood sitting in a barn....

69 Nova ss w/ a big block 396

My first car was a 69 Nova. Loved that car. It was originally chartruese green, but I had it painted candy apple red.
Also loved my Bugs (67 and 69) and LOVED my Fastback (1969).

My ex had some kind of car fetish, and we had a 60s Pontiac Star Chief. Also had a 70s 280Z and, and some kind of old Oldsmobile push button start car, but I can't remember what it was. Plus, about five more that I can't remember.

The Driver now has my 1976 Plymouth Volare wagon. SWEET car!

My favorite car ever was my Ford Country Squire Station Wagon...fake 1970s woody...

I love my car now; 1992 Toyota Camry LE Wagon. Probably my dream car.

Any one of these would work for pimpin purposes:

One of these for drivin' like a bat outta hell purposes.

After watching the How It's Made episode on Rolls Royce. The umbrella embedded in the door makes it my new dream car.

Yeah, I'm pretty happy with the Volare Wagon (thank-you Alisa) It's sort of my dream car already; vintage wheels that don't attract too much of the wrong attention. In fact it's an effective conversation starter/distraction in some of the more "ghetto" situations we've been in, hanging out in Detroit (a lot of people worked "on the line") Lately I'm intrigued by the possibilities of hopping up a 6, so maybe something like this 1969 Dodge Dart Swinger? - but then - my girlfriend already has a 1965 Oldsmobile F-85. Like we need another car.

Balls of the Showroom Floor.

I believe there were 160 or so these made and less than a dozen still exist due to insane rate of wreckage.

Best quote regarding... As Hot Rod warned, the T-bolt was "not suitable for driving to and from the strip, let alone on the street in everyday use."

I'm amazed at all the 60s and 70s love. I mean those are nice rides, but body styles of American cars were at their best in the 40s and 50s, in my opinion.

1950 Plymouth I wouldn't mind rollin'

it was his everyday ride for at least 10 years...his giant Siamese cat, Homer, liked to ride in it too...real sweet times...

My Dad drove one of these when I was growing up:

I may be totally making this up from my imagination, but I could swear my dad (Fat Larry) used to drive a late 60's/early 70's navy blue Pontiac Firebird with T tops and the firebird logo on the hood.
Posted: Aug 10, 2009 5:40 pm

Oh man, the coolest thing ever was my Grandpa's 1965 Nissan PatrolURL, Nellie Belle. It was "mine" for a year when I was 19 and lived in Hawaii...I took it everywhere a 4x4 could go...3 on the tree, wouldn't go over 60mph...never used the tops, though we had hard and soft...just kept rain slickers in the box...popped every tire on these Kiawe thorns URL several times. PURE FUN!!

Cobra played out. Tiger way more bettah.

We had a 69 Mustang convertible with that hideous dark green finish in 69. Then got a Cutlass Supreme in the early 70's which I drove into the ground until I gradiated from High school. Also had a Triumph Spitfire.

My dad used to have one of these. Black w/ white ragtop and removable black hardtop for those British winters. Red leather interior. What a car.

The technical term is "chock"

For some reason I can't use that word as a noun in this type of situation. As a verb, sure, as in "Chock the wheel with that rock and get out of the frame so I can take a picture!"
Posted: Aug 13, 2009 6:59 am

they only made one...

WHOAH Rema!!! I would KILL for a Nissan Patrol. Those things are amazing.

No joke! I was smitten with it. Everywhere I went I got cash offers for that thing, "Hey! Where did you get that car? I'll give you $25,000 right now!"...it was really annoying since I desperately wanted it for myself. My Grandpa was too old to drive it, so my Dad shipped it to Hawaii. I was 19 and running wild, by no means did I deserve to be gifted a toy like that...but I'm sure glad i got to play with it for a while. They ended up selling it to some guy with a cool 2-passenger submarine in his driveway...
maybe this pic will work...
