Muscle and hate!

I saw them live opening for Depeche Mode when I was in 7th grade. Seriously! Two drummers banging along to sequencer/backing tapes and the singer dude stomping back and forth. I'll admit to having some casssettes of theirs around that time. Pretty hilarious.

They're like a watered-down DAF for late 80's/early-90's dance club kids.

i saw skinny puppy in 1988, thought it was verrrrry hilarious. i'm sure it was dramatic and edgy and shit... a buncha funny-haired folks dancing behind keyboards with some light show going on.

might be the right time to go "industrial!"

dancing behind keyboards

yeah, do these "bands" actually "play" live?
Posted: Jul 7, 2008 7:58 am

i saw blues control play this weekend and though it 'sounded' good it was like watching someone else play guitar hero.

kinda reminded me of all the inevitable as freebird- "is he checking his email?" jokes lobbed at early electronic acts and dj's.

this thread is 8 replies longer than I expected!

"Isn't It Funny How Your Body Works?" is a pretty rad song. I think everything else by them pretty much sucks ass.

One of the guys I dj with always puts a Nitzer Ebb in his crate. When he gets it out and considers playing it I just roll my eyes...he always puts it back then.

I'm talking early 90's electronica but if I'd seen Kraftwerk in the 70's some asshole would have lobbed the inevitable "where's your guitars?"

same difference.

Trick Knee wasn't kiddin'!

you kids are so adorable when you get vindictive.

paristheatre's magnanimous thoughts which prompted the (sob) vindictiveness:

Jesus Christ ^ those photos are just one of many very good reminders as to why I'm so glad I don't live in the Midwest anymore. ugh. Fuck that region and everyone in it.

Also, you started this thread. Suck that dick.

Magnanimous. Thank you trickKnee for making me reach for a dictionary.

I still feel that way. I'm sorry you have internalized a general fuck you on a public message board...

I guess it's my magnanimous ways that won't let me rest until my own vindictive impulses are quelled by REMOVING THE ROCK N ROLL HALL OF FROM CLEVELAND OHIO FAME AND PLACING IT UPSIDE DOWN AND ATOP THE PYRAMID IN MEMPHIS TENNESSEE...if Memphis will have it, of course.
