Man, the Goner board has been pretty quiet these many months... It barely distracts me from work anymore! Isn't this the time of year we start speculating on Gonerfest bands, with the eventual first announcement as we edge towards summer?

it's been confirmed recently that Total Control is doing a show in L.A. in August. Maybe a full tour including Goner.

In response to my own question...

I would like to see Vatican Dagger, as I really like the Total Punk 7" and couldn't make the TP Fuck Off this year.
Also: the Mummies? I can't make the Burger thing they're playing, but I saw 'em a few years back and they were great.

i almost for sure won't make it, but two things that would make me strongly consider would be Neckbones and Compulsive Gamblers. Neckbones were my favorite band back in the day, especially live, just the best i'd seen. missed the gamblers at hozac a bunch of years ago because my fake ID didn't get finished in time. d'oh!

If you are looking to get a bit more bang for your buck, can I suggest UK's Sauna Youth and Monotony. Same band members in both groups.

My wishlist:

Uncontrolled glam/punk rock n' roll. Very wild and unexpected.

Sex Tide: Columbus, Ohio! Upright drums, two guitars, Velvet-scuzz.

Golden Pelicans again, I hope. The new songs sound sick.

Probably won't happen but Black Time! Their new album is sick.

Overall, very happy to see Hank Wood, and Cheena on the bill!!!
